With a second set of numbers below the inch marks, this tape measure from CenterPoint, instantly locates the middle of a sign, substrate, vehicle door, side panel, etc. A separate scale along the bottom edge of the CenterPoint blade shows exactly one-half the reading on the main scale. So to find the middle you look at the measurement on the upper scale, and then find the same measurement on the lower scale. There's the middle.
