Use for cotton, cotton-blend, and nylon fabrics. Ref-Lite reflective is a material designed for use on safety garments and other surfaces requiring high visibility at night. It’s easy to cut and weed. Cut in mirror image through the adhesive layer to the plastic backing, weed excess material, and lay the pattern on the fabric. Then cover the design area with paper or cloth. Apply heat transfer at 270°F to 290°F for only 5 seconds (cover and reheat for 3 seconds if necessary) with light pressure and peel away backing sheet when transfer is cool. Do not use more pressure, temperature or dwell time than is recommended because the adhesive on the weeded backing may stick to fabric. When you wash do not exceed temperatures of 140°F. This material is composed of glass beads and slowing down cutter speed will help your blades last longer.
