This 22-minute, streaming video covers basic vinyl application techniques. It is designed to educate individuals with little to no experience on how to properly apply vinyl to sign substrates.
It begins after you have used your vinyl cutting software and vinyl cutter to finish cutting your vinyl letters. The video then will show you how to weed the cut vinyl as well as how to apply premask.
Next, you will learn how to apply the letters to the substrate. The vertical hinge method and the horizontal hinge method are featured. The use of the wet method is also highlighted.
Proper use of common sign making tools, such as squeegees, brayers, premask systems, and more, makes the whole process of applying vinyl clear and understandable.
