Using specially formulated, outdoor stable, lite solvent inks, the PrismJET EXtraC will produce brilliant images that will last up to three years, without laminating. Individually controlled pre and post heaters provide instant drying and wider media compatibility.

Long Lasting Environmentally Friendly Solvent Ink

These printers use newly developed eco-solvent ink. This ink has a unique, low-volatile chemistry that allows signmakers to print durable solvent graphics without having to purchase and installspecial ventilation or environmental equipment. No fumes or odors to worry about. The inks are offered in six colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta). Prints created on the PrismJET EXtraC systems are UV and water resistant for up to three years outdoors with lamination required only for heavy-duty applications. (The PrismJET EXtra38 uses 4 color inks.)

Incredible Print Quality

The PrismJET EXtraC precisely controls ink droplet placement in both the print head travel (x axis) and paper feed (y axis) to provide true 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution. The PrismJET EXtraC uses proven variable dot piezo print heads and a digitally controlled media feed servo motor resulting in beautiful high-quality low cost solvent prints.

The PrismJET EXtraC printers offer the following print resolution settings: 180 x 360, 360 x 360, 360 x 720, 720 x 720, 1440 x 720, 720 x 1440, 1440 x 1440. Print speeds vary between 156 sq.ft/hr at 180 x 360 dpi, 39 sq.ft/hr at 720 x 720 dpi and 7 sq.ft/hr at 1440 x 1440 dpi.

The PrismJET EXtraC accepts a line of certified media including photo gloss paper, glossy scrim banner and adhesive vinyl as well as a full line of eco-solvent approved materials. These materials have been designed to offer a wide range of applications including durable outdoor graphics, vehicle and fleet markings.

Network Connection

(Not available on the PrismJET EXtraC SILVER III system which includes a PrismJET EXtra 38 color printer.)

Equipped with a standard 100 BASE-TX/10 BASE-T interface, The PrismJET EXtraC connects seamlessly to office networks with a data transmission rate of 1.1 Mb/sec. This makes it easy to configure a highly efficient printing environment.A cable can be used for stand-alone printing.
