The EGX
20 is perfect for first-time engravers. This do-it-all, desktop device uses
an Active Surface Tracking system to prevent scratches and maintain a
constant engraving depth, even on bowed or non-uniform surfaces. This makes
it easy to engrave a wide variety items, such as nametags, medallions,
awards and control panels. See Specifications |
Features
Easy To
Use
Like a desktop printer, the EGX-20
simply plugs into a computer with a parallel cable. A joystick on its
control panel makes it easy to control the X, Y and Z axes for smooth,
accurate engraving.
Active Surface Tracking system
The EGX 20 uses an Active Surface Tracking system to prevent scratches
on engraving material and maintain a constant engraving depth, even on bowed
or non-uniform surfaces.
Compatibility
Engrave a wide variety of materials, including plastic, acrylics and
even metals such as brass and aluminum.
Software
All Roland engravers come with Dr. Engrave software. Dr. Engrave has an automatic layout function for importing Excel and CSV database files for faster engraving of name tags and nameplates. Dr. Engrave quickly and automatically lays out jobs to fit material in the most efficient way possible. Another key Dr. Engrave feature is its ability to convert Windows TrueType fonts into single line fonts for optimal engraving. You also get MODELA 3D TEXT and Virtual MODELA along with Dr. Engrave with each Roland rotary engraver. |
