Applying Vinyl to the Wall

I am having problems getting the 631 vinyl to adhere to the walls, I do not have the option of repainting the service. Does anyone know if I use the 651 vinyl if it will pull the paint from the wall? I have used it once before (not knowing there was a difference) and the it came down without any problems after 6 months. I just want to check because this is for our church missions team so it will be up for about 1 year then it will need to come down? Hoping someone has some suggestions!

Dust may be the culprit. Fortunately, this problem is easily avoided. Just take a minute to wipe down the wall area with a dry tack cloth or a lint-free cloth before installation to make sure it’s clean and dust free. You also may want to take a heat gun or blow dryer and slightly heat the vinyl to make the adhesive slightly more tacky.

Using 651 is probably not a good idea. That adhesive is designed to be permanent and may not come off without damage to the paint. Stylneffects' suggestion to warm up the adhesive may help. In the end, it depends on what kind of surface you're dealing with. Some textures and paints are very difficult.
