Question Minimum Usage for Mutoh Printers?

I know with my office ink-jet printers that I must print at least one full color page per week in order to keep the heads from drying out. Has anyone determined the maximum length of time the Mutoh Eco-Solvent printers can safely sit idle before causing big problems?
    Thanks

No more than a month. Yet is all depends on how old the print heads are too. I would suggest running either a nozzle check every two weeks on it, or printing something once a month with it.

    Hello again David.
Our technicians recommend printing a page a week to keep everything running. You can read more about it in our blog post on printer maintenance.

Not exactly the above problem.. I created a 1" square of each color duplicated across the material I use 36' as my basic material so 5 units. NOW MY PROBLEM: When i attempted to run the above print job, I received a message ink boittle full. Colors KCLm empty. I also discovered that the ink waste bottle was full & had overflowed. MAJOR MESS! After cleanup & replacing the 3 empty bottles, when attempting to rerun the color print file(above) I received an error message: MH01 error RTL. I rebooted the printer and now receive message: Ink waste bottle FULL. In desperation, I removed the waste bottle, new message: Missing Waste Bottle. Printer will not do anything beyond "Initilizing"...Is there a second switch for the waste bottle (besides the bottom)? and How do I keep the ink from draining into the waste bottle? (tnis morning I arrived with the 3 inks I had replaced yesterday afternoon empty and the waste bottle again full & splilling over).

Why would you post this question here and not start your own thread?? If I has problem that serious I would be on the phone to tech support and not even bother with the forum where you might never get an answer.

    Excellent point, in re: support ... 800.966.1783 | support@signwarehouse.com

And while on-topic is ideal, we're pretty freeform here at the Forums. So no worries if some threads go on a bit of a tangent, IMO.

But definitely a good suggestion on contacting support. Kudos, David40!
